I really enjoy this series and the characters that are represented are fantastic… always enjoy reading NR books 📖😊

The third book in the bridal quarter focuses on Laurel, who makes the wedding cakes. I really like Laurel and Del a lot, and Laurel's lifelong crush kind of gets me all heart-eyed every time. I just love this entire group of characters together so much. However, reading this did make me really want cupcakes.
I am in love with this series and this book was just as great as the previous two... laurel and del are the perfect yin and yang to each other!! 💕
#quotsyjune19 @TK-421 “He gave her a quick, casual kiss on the cheek first. Then came the #hug, and it was the hug that always made Laurel‘s heart mush. Serious grip, cheek to the hair, eyes closed, just a little sway. Del‘s hugs mattered, she thought, and made him impossible to resist.” Sigh, I love this quote.
Really well done friends to lovers plot. The Bride Quartet is one of my Nora favorites, so I was already expecting a lot, and she delivered. Laurel is so tough, feisty, snappy, and seriously skilled in her profession. Del, as the love interest, is more balanced, controlled. He feels like a real person, and I loved reading as he falls for Laurel. Recommended for contemporary fans, who love reading about baking.
Now on to book 3! I still love this series so much... the friendship between these four women is as much a wonderful part of each book as the romance. 💖
Picture featuring the awesome hand warmers made by @MaleficentBookDragon from my #dystopianblues box. They are so warm and cozy I've hardly taken them off today!

I liked the pace of this book in comparison to the others in the quartet.
Someone went on an author #bingeread. More power to them. I think it's better than a Netflix binge viewing, but that's just me. 😉👍🏻 #LitsyLovesLibraries
Stayed up way too late last night to finish this installment of the Bride Quartet. Solid but I liked book 2 a bit more. Del was a bit too perfect and Laurel came off as really crabby. However I realized that I really enjoy the friendship of this series more than the romance; seeing the group of girlfriends expand their "family" in each book is my favorite part. The camaraderie remind me of the show Friends.
A quick library run for more Nora Roberts and a pile of paperbacks gifted from a friend resulted in quite the #romantsy book stack.
Oh look, unsuspecting couple falls in love after knowing each other their whole lives. Overly dramatic fight, and ends with an engagement. Wash, rinse. repeat.
Rereading this book + having some Terry's chocolate orange as a treat 👍🙌🍫❤📖 #Riotgrams
#wishiwasthere with the quartet making dream weddings come true in a big beautiful house with best friends. #booktober

It's hard loving someone more than they love you, and it's something I have to deal with.
I absolutely can't travel without a novel. 🤓
It's my birthday, but as I am avoiding sugar and flour there will be no cake, so I thought I would just reread a favorite romance about a pastry chef/wedding cake artist heroine in order to torment/soothe my cake cravings. Yummy imaginary cake for me!
