This was my first Harlan Coben book, and while I enjoyed it, the main character Win is really a nasty guy. It was a quick and fast read. I will definitely read more of his books, though.
I'm heading home tomorrow, so another holiday read. I've only read one myron bolitar bk, which I enjoyed and picked this up, unaware it was a spin off about one of the characters. It was an enjoyable thriller that twisted and turned well with some exciting action scenes. Definitely need to read more by harlan coben.

1. Either “Articulate.” because Windsor Horne Lockwood III is all that 😊 or “But perhaps it was only an echo.” The last line from The Giver.
2. She loves cuddling us!
Very well-written crime thriller. I can't wait to read more from Coben, who is more skillful than most in this genre. The main character is a privileged, entitled, old-money a$$hole but somehow likeable as he has no illusions about deserving his status. The idea of super-rich equals celebrity is sometimes over the top ("you probably read about that" "yes THAT so-and-so" and such), but overall very good with lots of funny.
I just started this book and don't know this character's name or gender. They might be a criminal based on the genre. But I like them already! I live near a major March Madness school and just don't get it. It isn't like the players are even local people, but the city goes nuts! Most aren't even alumni!
This was a super good mystery novel! I actually didn‘t see the end coming for once and it was wrapped up so nicely! I did have to get past how the main character gushed about how rich he is but besides that it was great! I was confused as to why he kept bringing up his friend Myron who had no relevance, then I realized this was a spin-off of the Myron Bolitar series. 😂
This was my April #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks 🎉😁
I really enjoyed this one! And I feel like the narrator is getting better at voicing the female characters. I particularly enjoyed a story told exclusively from the perspective of Windsor Horne Lockwood III. There really isn‘t much I can say other than if you like Win‘s extravagant weirdo of a character in the Myron Bolitar series and haven‘t read this yet, you will probably enjoy this as well.
#June wasn‘t my best reading month but was great to get back into books linked to the wonderful world of Myron Bolitar, and everyone‘s favourite character in those books, Win. Therefore this is my June choice for #12Booksof2021 #6thBookof2021
I read this in a day. Harlan Coben is such a great storyteller and I really enjoyed this!
Woohoooo I finally cleared out my pending Netgalley shelf completely and made it to the mythical 100% ratio!! 😱🥳😱🥳😍 This has never happened before in the five years since I signed up... Ready for a break now though. 😆
After you get past the main character lamenting about how rich he is, it‘s a really enjoyable story! If you‘ve liked previous Harlan Coben books, you will like this one! It‘s supposed to be the beginning of a new series I believe and Win has a connection to the Myron Bolitar series by Coben, which I haven‘t read, but was still able to follow what was happening. I was surprised by the reveal at the end! I would read more of this series!
Whoa.
My head is spinning, and a book that I thought was going to leave me feeling confused left me eager to praise it for such a clever ending and twists I never saw coming!
Win needs to find the connection between two seemingly different crimes, and it is certainly a thrilling ride to get there! Highly recommended for fans of mystery and stories with multiple characters.
Win is one fictional character I may have developed a crush on *wink.*
This book! Definitely a Win, Win!!! The best sidekick ever finally gets his own book!!!
Okay so I am a huge Harlan Coben fan, HUGE. But this didn‘t grab me as much as his Myron Bolitar novels or his other standalones. Maybe it‘s because I hate rich people problems. Idk. Win is definitely better as a character in small doses. So many of his comments had 🙄 Over all it was a decent read but I don‘t know if I‘d read the whole series. Glad I didn‘t buy this one and checked it out of the library. It‘s between a pick and so so for me.
Coben‘s thrillers are reliably fast, fun reads and this book is no exception. Win, a character already well-known to readers of the Myron Bolitar series, is the focus of this one—well actually, a murder, a stolen Vanmeer and a suitcase are the focus and it‘s up to Win to unravel the mystery. He is a way over the top character and thus very entertaining. The story is too. Definitely an enjoyable read.
Hey Littens! Apologies if this seems like an ad since I worked on it, but I thought the Harlan Coben fans might be interested! Tonight's episode is a special "stranger than fiction" story featuring Harlan, he follows along with this real life case.
It isn't about his books or anything. He seems like a cool guy, though, it actually made me want to check out his work.
Anyhow! On tonight!
Loved it! ❤ Win is such a fantastic character and I was hooked from the start. I was slightly disappointed there was no Myron but the story and Win's humour definitely made up for it 😊
When a recluse is murdered in an upscale apartment in New York, the FBI find two items with him which belong to the Lockwood family. When Win starts looking into the mysterious connection, skeletons start tumbling out of the cabinet!!
A very exciting nove🔥 Please read 📖 the detailed review from here https://rb.gy/tj20pq

Nobody writes fast-paced, intricately constructed mysteries featuring fascinating characters better than 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐧. 𝗪𝐢𝐧 is a privileged, arrogant, exasperating, but oddly charming former FBI asset who investigates several crimes that may be connected & implicate his family. Win is one of 2021's must-read thrillers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This did not disappoint!! Another solid thriller with great twists, humor, action and suspense. Having Win as the stand alone antihero was a nice change, although I did miss the banter between Win & Myron. Even if you‘ve never read a Harlan Coben novel before, you‘ll be able to enjoy this read. Book publishes March 21 #NetGalley #ARC @Andrew65 @TrishB @riversong153
Guess who got approved for the newest Harlan Coben novel?!!? And guess who the main character is??!?! Windsor Horne Lockwood III 🥰The start of a new series, featuring the best antihero vigilante and it‘s already proving to be gritty with high octane thrills❣️#NetGalley #ARC
Anyone else counting down the days until this is released? Not been this excited about a book in a long time! Been a long 5 year wait since Home. I adore the Myron Bolitar series and Win is just amazing! Articulate...
I borrowed this from Daniel Arenson because I believe it is true of every Litten. Have a wonderful day.
How have I only just heard about this???? Coben just put a post up about his new dog Winslow and then I read about the new book. Hurry up March! Articulate.
“Dear Beautiful, Gorgeous, Smoking-Hot Reader:
How are you during this difficult, difficult time? I‘m sending you good vibes. Let‘s get to it: “
This was how the newsletter opened form Harlan. After that intro we are on first name. I don't care who criticize me from now on I know that I am a “Beautiful, Gorgeous, Smoking-Hot Reader.“
💓 💕 💖I cannot wait until this book comes out. March 2021. Got to keep my eye on this one. I may have to reread the entire series starting in January. So Happy!!!! Thank You Harlan Coben. 😍
