Such a delightful, steamy book! Loved the nods to Schitts‘s Creek and The Deadliest Catch. I will definitely read more from this author.

I finished “Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake” and immediately read this book by the same author. I definitely liked it, although maybe not as much as “Rosaline” but that may be due to my love of GBBO. I do like that both books have strong, loving friend characters.

I read this book as I sat next to my dad in the ICU during his last few days. It was exactly what I needed. Pure escapism and good book therapy. I love the GBBO and I loved the lgbtq+ theme/characters. I had moments with frustration regarding (spoiler alert, but this is a romcom so you will have seen this coming) her initial love interest and was so happy it ended up the way it did.

This is a great book. Tells the story of a family split by circumstance through its characters, generation by generation. Really interesting and really thought-provoking. Also, very painful. I returned this to the library quickly because there was a waiting list but I regretted this as I would have re-read sections.

I read this as part of the Roxane Gay book club and enjoyed reading this. It did put into perspective my own childhood as well as my own parenting. I appreciated Ms. Ford‘s voice and the love as well as chaos that family gave her.

Nothing better than a Sarah Maclean romance. Loved her books - love the strong feminist characters and the steamy scenes! Highly recommend! Can‘t wait for the the others In this series!

Loved this! It was definitely a book that made me think and I loved finding out about her journey through life. I‘m interested in reading more from this author.

I‘d give this a 3/5. Another review mentioned that Wade‘s self-flagellation in the first part of the book gets tedious. And it really does. I enjoyed the quest for the Seven Shards although as much as I love Prince, that section seemed long. And I dozed during the Tolkien part but that is normal for me. Still, I enjoyed it and if there is a movie made, would probably watch it.

I read this in a day. Harlan Coben is such a great storyteller and I really enjoyed this!

This is a beautiful book. I love the characters. The writing is so interesting-I love how the story unravels. I really, really liked this book.

I liked the book and Ms. Reichert‘s writing. I always enjoy a book with cooking, baking and romance in it. Plus, Wisconsin!

This is not an uplifting read. I struggled with the first half of the book and then got into it a little more. It is depressing that we still struggle with the issues facing the characters in this book.

I enjoyed this but I didn‘t love this. I did like the characters and their own personal issues. I really had to suspend belief with some of the air travel details as some things just couldn‘t happen these days. (I know, it‘s fiction.). I would have also enjoyed more spicy scenes!

I found Quentin to be a very unlikeable protagonist. I almost bailed several times while reading this but pushed through. Interestingly, I kind of want to read book 2. Definitely were parts I liked and parts I found tedious.

I‘ve read this before, but after it was mentioned in “The Overdue Life of Amy Byler,” I wanted to read it again. At times, very painful to read but I still loved it. I love Rainbow Rowell‘s books. I‘m thinking it‘s time to reread them!
