I‘ve got a couple picture books for today for #bbrc and #scarathlon. This was first - very cute story (loved the illustrations) about a group of young monsters who try to exclude cute animals from their club thinking they can‘t be scary. Definitely one of the better picture books I've read.

An adorable F story, that is sure to make you laugh. It is about a group of the scariest monsters around who get prepared to scare the kids on Halloween. But when a not so scary creature wants to join the club, the other monsters laugh. They quickly find out who is the scariest of all. Ethan Long is a great person to do AS on. #UCFLAE3414F17

Fright Club by Ethan Long is F PB and would make the perfect RA around Halloween. The book is about monsters who are trying to prepare for Halloween night and start being interrupted by small critters who want to join the club, they then laugh at the small critters but are suddenly alarmed when the critters scare them and are then they allow them to join the club. We have read this book so much that we both have it memorized!!! I may have to make it a permanent part of my classroom library rather than just a seasonal add in!
