A Christmas thriller. Two different parts. It was a good book but not great. I missed suspense and action there. The story itself was great, but incomplete.

Jessica Gold is being held captive by a outwardly charming narcissist. He is sadistic & cruel, & Jessica‘s health is starting to suffer. Yet Jessica may survive - after all, she knows something he doesn‘t.
The first two thirds of the book are compelling, but the ending veers into frankly ridiculous territory. 3.5🌟

My #HolidayTradition (winter tradition) is to drunk tea in winter or holiday inspired mugs. This one has an illustration of Rudolf. And I am drinking #ChristmasTea (mix of orange, apple, cinnamon, white chocolate).

Dec #BookSpinBingo A disturbing thriller so I needed my Halloween pasta given by @feskner #HauntedHallowedSwap Not much to say without spoil the story. If you liked I let you Go, maybe you‘ll like this one. I didn‘t see some twists coming, others were obvious, others too unrealistic but it kept my reading interest. You can see in real world some of these antisocial personality traits. Book was by @chrissyreadit #StuffedstockingSwap 2018 3.5⭐️ 👇
By the title I was hoping this was going to be a seasonal read but you could read this any time of the year, theres very little Christmas here.

Still not sure how the cover relates, but I was pleasantly surprised by this Christmas thriller!
Finished this in 2 days but it fell short for me. I keep thinking that it didn't all add up - there would be too many clues pointing to what really happened. And I hated the ending.
I prefer physical books, but my #ereader allows me to carry around a bazillion books at a time all the time, and that makes me ridiculously happy.
I'm enjoying reading this Christmas mystery. I think it's going to pick up soon...wish the main character would've listened to her instincts!

W🎄T🎄F (which is really the most appropriate reaction to thrillers that leave you glued to you seat for hours.)
This book was not what I expected and I am satisfied with how it turned out. I loved the Christmas theme and the mystery behind what happened to Jessica.
Love this time of year! Almost done with Dying for Christmas and it has been pretty good! A fast read with a twist that I didn't see coming
Next on my list: Dying for Christmas by Tammy Cohen. I haven't heard much about this book, but what better way to celebrate the season 🎄 (& my favorite holiday) by reading a thriller about it! Enjoy your Thanksgiving Eve! 🦃
When Jessica decides to go home for a drink with a man she just met, she knows she's taking a risk. But she doesn't realize just how bad it is until he tells her he's not letting her leave, and proceeds to hold her captive. This novel is bizarre and twisted, but if you love weird psychological thrillers, you'll likely really enjoy it -- I couldn't put it down.
Afternoon reading: 'Tis the season. 📚🤘🏻📚
