My #bookspin book for April. It has been sitting on my shelves for ages after reading The Velvet Hours in book club at least 3 years ago. A great WWII story set in Italy. I wish I had not waited so long to read it. @TheAromaofBooks

Thanks for the tag @ValerieAndBooks This will be fun!
@CoffeeLitNFit would you like to join in? Post a favorite cover for seven days with the hashtags. No explanation or book description needed. You can tag a person each day, but since you‘re new to Litsy and just getting to know us, it‘s not required. Very little is actually required around here 😄
My neighbors already know I‘m the crazy flower- book lady!! I had to climb up in a stool to take this because these are so tall!! Oh well 🤣🤷🏼♀️ Looks like I‘ll only be traveling to my front yard!! Lol!!

Thank you Debra for your giveaway opportunity 💗👏🏻💗🤗
I enjoy magical realism such as Sarah Addison Allen; and of course the master of such is Ray Bradbury‘s Dandelion Wine 🍷 which I read every summer 🥰
My most wished-for book is tagged. Nobody spins a story like Alyson Richman! After reading Velvet Hours and Lost Wife, I hunger for The Garden of Letters!!!

Oh, goodness, how this made me cry! An incredibly beautiful interweaving of two tragic stories that produces a hopeful, positive ending. As usual, I‘m drawn to a character who is a musician, but one who uses her talent in an unusual way. I‘ve read any number of novels set during WWII, and this ranks up there with the best of them for me. Thanks again, @tdrosebud You nailed it😘
It was great having the together for the holiday weekend, but now that they have headed home, it‘s some well deserved reading time for me😄 I had put this aside when I brought home a library book, then finished a book borrowed from my son‘s library so it could go home with them. Glad to get back to this.
For a variety of reasons, I have not been reading much lately. But hubby has an appointment with the orthopedist (flare-up of tennis elbow), so I have some quality reading time, because this doctor is wonderful but always running behind 😂 Really enjoying this book.
About to start this gift from @tdrosebud that got buried under a pile of other books. Interestingly, this is the second book in as many weeks with a major character named Elodie. I‘m looking forward to this, and it has to be one of the most beautiful covers in my library.
1. A great historical fiction, also Anne Bishop's Black Jewels trilogy for fantasy.

@tdrosebud you are so generous! Thank you for all these goodies! I‘m excited to read all these books. I can‘t believe your thoughtfulness to ensure the Earl Grey is decaf😘 Hubby is eyeing the chocolates already😂 Thanks again, and I hope your Valentines Day is a special one. You‘ve definitely boosted mine. #cupidgoespostal
This book features one of the most beautiful ways to cherish one's #loveletters

I loved "The Lost Wife" by this same author and was eager to read another book by her. This one is set in WWII Italy. But it skewed much too heavily toward the romance genre, which I really don't like.
I know this book will be awesome because I LOVED The Velvet Hours and The Lost Wife, I just can‘t get to it!!! Anyone read it?!
