For my second #bookreport I‘m sad to say I failed hard on my forecast (which was to read In Cold Blood - I only read about 30 pages of that)... but I did get a surprising amount of reading in despite the week being pretty dang busy otherwise. Two audio books and a handful of graphic novels. Not too shabby!

For those who gain strength in solitude, Laurie Helgoe provides insight and several methods for surviving in a society that seems to focus on the extroverted. She reminds me that there's nothing wrong with enjoying my own company, and it's okay to protect my own time.
pickEvery introvert should read this. This book is all about embracing your introversion, rather than adapting it to an extroverted world. There is a whole chapter about saying no to a party invite without making excuses 😂 You don‘t have to go out. You don‘t have to talk. Just do you and be happy 😊 👍🏻
pickThis book made me feel so understood. I love that she had actionable items throughout that you could use to help yourself embrace your introversion.

Ok, I'm in! I'm really bummed because I missed the Daiya pizza sale at my supermarket by one day so I have no snacks! But I've got 4 books I'm currently reading and the introvert power is strong in this house.

pickLOVE this book!! It was so great and empowering!! I am an introvert about to marry an extrovert and often I feel like they just don't get it, this book is spot on and amazing! Def on my re-read list!
