I just joined The Classics Club (again!) with a huge list of children‘s classics from my TBR. Anyone else working on a list?

My post: https://bucklingbookshelves.blogspot.com/2018/07/the-classics-club-round-two.htm...

More info: https://theclassicsclubblog.wordpress.com/

#theclassicsclub #classicsclub #childrensclassics

AvidReader25 I was actually one of the original moderators who started the club. I finished my list and now just keep really more classics! 😊 6y
BucklingBookshelves @Avidreader25 that‘s awesome — THANK YOU — I‘m so glad the club is still going after so many years! I didn‘t do so great at my first attempt, but I‘m excited to try again now I‘ve figured out the classics that work for me 😊📚 6y
AvidReader25 @Bucklingbkshelf That‘s awesome! The whole goal of the club was to help readers figure out what they love and get them to try something new that they might not have thought of as a classic before. 6y

smilingshelves Awesome! I can't wait to check out your list (and probably steal a bunch of titles to put on my list)! 😁 6y
BkClubCare Yay Classics Club! I‘m surprised more members aren‘t Litsy-zing.... 6y
BkClubCare That was auto correct that just would NOT let me make Litsy a verb. Ugh “Litsy-ing” is a verb! If you do Litsy, you are Litsy-ing 6y

I‘m slowly continuing the task of shelving all the B&N Classics I got for free for Nook years ago. While I put together a #litsyclassics list, if #litsyatoz has been any indication, it‘s bound to change over 2018.

So many books! I‘m only up to Kafka and I‘ve got close to 70!

Sarah83 Great collection. Even tough I can't read the titles. 😍 7y

I finally put my tentative reading list together for the #2018 #litsyclassics challenge!

What other interesting year-long 2018 Litsy challenges are out there so far? I usually do #popsugarreadingchallenge and a #tbr challenge, but looking for some new ideas!

Cinfhen I'm totally doing #pop18 ~ I've been working on my tentative list and I'm thinking of creating a Bingo challenge if nobody else does one...last years was fun 7y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cinfhen I‘ll co-host a bingo challenge with you this year!! Let‘s talk. 👏🏻👏🏻😍📚 7y
alisiakae @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage I would be happy to help with a bingo challenge too! I was working on my list last night. #pop18 would make a great bingo board or two! (edited) 7y

@EclecticReaders asked an #eclecticquestion for an upcoming podcast: What bookish items are on your Christmas list? I'm looking at this scratch-off classics poster by Pop Chart Lab. The framed version is a pricey $130, but the poster alone is $35. This might be a fun idea for someone participating in #LitsyClassics next year!

(Someone posted about this when I first joined Litsy, but I cannot find the post, otherwise I would give credit!)

EclecticReaders Very cool!! 7y

Once, several years ago, Barnes & Noble had a ton of their classics available for free. I downloaded them all.

Some I read in high school or college. Most I never read at all. I intend to get through them. Someday.

Even though it's a shelf of ebooks, it is definitely my heaviest!

#spacejam

rubyslippersreads I remember that. I think it was when I first got my Nook. 7y
Notafraidofwords Age of Innocence is awesome 😁 7y
Jinjer That is so cool!!!! 7y
SaraBeagle I downloaded a bunch too! Kinda bummed now that I didn't go for more 7y

Pickpick

Fun Photo Friday: One of the things I like to read about is reading. Here is a selection of books on that topic, from which you can deduce some of my favorite authors in the field. Anyone have suggestions for other reading about reading?

MyBookLife Which are your favorites? 8y
SusanInTiburon @MyBookLife Michael Dirda's Readings is one of my desert island books, and John Sutherland's How to Be Well Read is great fun. 8y
