pickI first read #shadowcastle in middle school. It's technically a children's book but it is one of my favorites. Full of magic and wonder #mariancockrell pulls you into the story almost instantly so you feel as if you are there inside the shadow castle while hearing the stories of it's past.

pickI adored this book as a child & was devastated when my copy was lost. Years later I repurchased it & now share it with my kids. It is a story of love, fairies, goblins, & a dragon. The illustrations are beautiful. I still love the fairies & the concept of finding a secret path to a world of magic
