This book has been on my #TBR for years: today I finally picked it up & started reading.

One of the highlights of quarantine (lol for me) has been Disney pushing forward their release of their recording of HAMILTON on Broadway. Having watched it at no less than eight (8) times in the last two months, I feel like I‘m getting so much more from this book than I would have if I‘d read it in when I bought it 4 years ago.

MicheleinPhilly I only did Disney+ for the month of July and I think I watched it 8 times in that 1 month. Truthfully I stopped counting after 4. 😂 4y

Cuilin @crinoline_laphroaig I've watched it twice with my youngest daughter, she saw it live in San Francisco. Planning on watching it again today with my older daughter. I loved it! Not book related but no-one in my household shares my joy and I need to EXPRESS!!!

It was announced this week that the recorded OBC show of Hamilton will be shown on Disney+ in July.

I am beyond ecstatic! I have never been able to afford to see the show in the West End & now I get to see it with the lovely Lin-Manuel Miranda himself in the role he created!

Fellow Hamilfans, feel free to squee your delight in my direction! I totally understand!

I would use UDL principles such as 7.2 for students to discover the life of of one of our founding fathers. Glad I read this before seeing the musical on Sunday! The script has excellent supplements and Lin-Manuel‘s annotations are fantastic. (Psst... BookOutlet.com is currently selling it for only $15 😮!)

Bought a book bag 😉, bookmarks, (hard to see here) a “I‘m not throwing away my shot!” shot glass. Son got a t-shirt (I‘d have too but the only ones I liked were male/unisex which make me look like a fire hydrant). Hubby got a mug and magnet 😊.

JanuarieTimewalker13 Hahahaha!! I love that!! I fire hydrant!! I‘ve heard barrel before, and I‘ve felt like a barrel in certain clothes, but I like fire hydrant better. So happy you had fun!!! Good tip on BO!! I kind of missed the Hamilton boat, so to speak, I don‘t know why. Maybe bc I lived right near where they dueled (years ago) West NY or Weehawken, can‘t remember...but was on Boulevard East many times, living in neighboring town of Hoboken. I should see it! 5y

But with a family of five, it was impossible financially and to be able to know if the more affordable route of buying tickets way in advance would have worked time-wise! Still wasn‘t cheap this time (for three) but more manageable 😊. Yes the duel was in Weehawken. I‘d like to see the site someday! 5y

What a show 😍! Yes the stage was partly obscured from our box seats but we still saw a lot. And son got his program autographed afterwards by Burr (today he was played by Andrew Chappelle), Washington, and Lafayette/Jefferson! And the GalaPro app that captions most shows on Broadway (screenshot ☝️) worked very well. Tomorrow I‘ll show what I bought 😊

Binge-reading this!! Yes this is what we got from B&N yesterday. We got last-minute tickets (Via stubhub so I hope they‘re real) to see Hamilton tomorrow! The seats will be just okay but I‘m sure it will still be fun ! Because I‘m deaf I wanted to familiarize myself with the words/plot beforehand. There‘s an app that captions Broadway shows but don‘t know how glitchy it might be. Excited!!
