The best book in the series! It was more than your typical romance, it was an adventure in over 500 pages! I loved every second of it. Brook has built an awesome world with her iron seas books and this was my favorite. Zenobia and Ariq were amazing characters and their story never got boring and was more than I expected! #romantsy #steampunk

When I met Meljean Brook (who is super awesome) I told her I hadn't read the final book in her last series because I didn't want it to end. So this is how she signed this book - and it's been on my TBR for 2 years...so not 3! I'm so excited to read it! #romantsy #steampunk

#Recommendsday Meet Zenobia Fox. She's the ghost writer for her brother's adventure stories who decides to go off on her own adventure, a spinster adventure, damn it. And it's then that she meets Ariq, the Kraken King. Asian. Male. Hero. They do exist. Meljean Brook wrote one of the hottest male characters ever. I loved this steampunk romance adventure story and can't recommend it highly enough. I want a shelf of just Kraken Kings.
