Book Riot has a cool infographic and article about which US states are the most and least popular for book settings. Interesting read! https://www.google.com/amp/s/bookriot.com/book-settings-by-state/amp/

The old map was driving me nuts! As soon as I added one state, another one would drop! I like this site much better, because you can use different colors for different categories. (Spent a lot of time there, just passing through, etc.) In this case...green for book read, blue for book identified but not read, and red for book to be identified. #50states #mystery
Woo-hoo, I finished! All 50 states read. I found this chalkboard placemat in a bargain bin a while back, so I decided to use it to track my reads. This has been fun! Thanks to @Librarybelle for coming up with this idea and to everyone else for your posts. I‘ve enjoyed following what everyone read.
Well, I did it! Yay! Thanks so much to @Librarybelle for hosting #readingUSA2019.
My 5 star reads are shown on the picture, in no particular order.
I read;
30 hard copy, of which I already owned 12
11 Kindle, of which I already owned 2
6 borrowed from the library
3 borrowed from Libby
I *really* enjoyed this challenge, found some new authors and read some books I would not have considered before. Looking forward to #readingeurope2020!
Cool! As seen at McNally Jackson books in NYC

I wasn‘t surprised to see the books chosen for the three States that I lived in - Oregon (One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest) & New York (The Great Gatsby) & Washington (Twilight) 😊❤️ 📚

I loved the illustrations in this book as well as the variety of facts & information! It was really cool that there were so many authors represented, but also important people & events in sports, arts, & science. I also appreciated the diversity & the focus on Native cultures & people. Great book!
My hometown in Michigan wasn't mentioned, but the towns north (Muskegon) & south (Holland) were! This book is so much fun!
My current home in Columbus, GA. I knew about Pasaquan (& want to visit), but didn't know about the Lunch Box Museum! I learned a lot from the Georgia pages!
My daughter got this beautiful book as a Christmas gift from my parents. Sometimes it pays to not buy every amazing book you want! 😊 This purchase was made by my dad, without seeing it in person and not knowing I almost bought it THREE times!
I visited all 50 states yesterday at the National Book Festival. #natbookfest
