Book Riot has a cool infographic and article about which US states are the most and least popular for book settings. Interesting read! https://www.google.com/amp/s/bookriot.com/book-settings-by-state/amp/

Smrloomis Oh wait, I guess the infographic is from this site: https://crossword-solver.io/books-set-around-america Just in case you‘re super curious and want to dig into this more! 3y
Soubhiville When I was #readingthestates I noticed that last year I came across tons of books set in NY and CA. Guess I‘m not the only one 😁📚 3y
BarbaraBB Super interesting! I‘ll keep the link! 3y

vivastory Poor Vermont. I'm honestly surprised by the number of books set in my state (MO) 3y
RamsFan1963 663 books are written about Maine? Wonder how many of those are by Stephen King?? 3y
Smrloomis @Soubhiville yeah I would have guessed those too although I thought Texas would be the top. Shows my bias 😂 2y
Smrloomis @BarbaraBB I thought so too! 2y
Smrloomis @vivastory The numbers are surprising in some places for sure. 2y
Smrloomis @RamsFan1963 you mean there are some set in Maine that are written by other people??? 2y
RamsFan1963 @Smrloomis Outside of Mr. King's work, John Irving's The Cider House Rules and Richard Russo's Empire Falls also take place in Maine. 2y
Smrloomis @RamsFan1963 yeah but when I think of Maine, I think of Stephen King first for sure 😂 2y

I don‘t expect to finish anything else by tomorrow, so here‘s my March #bookspin and #bookspinbingo list. It includes several bookclub reads and lots of books for #readingthestates. I‘m looking forward to the spin on the 2nd!

The Crimson Petal and the White is my #chunksterchallenge2021, so I‘m including it to encourage myself to chip away at it!

TheAromaofBooks Yay!!! 4y
Tattooedteacher Great choices! 4y
Amiable Good idea for chunkster motivation! 4y
Soubhiville @TheAromaofBooks I‘m switching out The Birds by Daphne du Maurier for Into the Drowning Deep since I finished that today 😊📚 4y
TheAromaofBooks Sounds good to me!! 4y
