Arnie, the Doughnut

So our little guy is not the biggest of reading but at least he is into reading a book or two before bed. However, he had been talking about this book with a doughnut on the cover non stop since his first day of school. By some miracle and luck I managed to figure out the book and bought him a copy. A fun, silly story that is dialogue oriented with colourful pages. He wants to read it in the morning and the night 😁!

I don‘t usually make amigurumi but wanted to try making a cupcake for a friend who owns a bakery that hires special needs teens. The kids of course insisted that the cupcake is theirs and so I made a doughnut to accompany Miss Cupcake. And I‘ll make another for my friend #audiocrochet

WorldsOkayestStepMom Honestly, any of them. But I prefer the more dense, yeasty types of doughnuts. The only doughnut shop in my town sells the super light and airy types that my husband and kids love. 6y

My son says this book is a thumbs up. I think it has to do with the fact that he loves doughnuts. I laughed at parts and thought other parts were kind of creepy, but if it encourages his love of reading well, then, thumbs up!
