I do adore this series, and while this is a pick, it‘s probably my least favorite. Just because the conflict, though it makes sense, is due to lack of communication. That is a trope that drives me bonkers-just talk!! Though there are reasons and the resolution was good, the journey was frustrating at times. This is book 13 of the Immortals After Dark series, they don‘t really work as standalones. 3.5⭐️

Another fun, steamy Immortals After Dark installment. Emotionally scarred werewolf falls in and out of love with a human professional soccer player, who then turns out to be a succubus. The hero is a jerk multiple times, but because the heroine wants it to work out, they get their happily ever after.

I really like what Cole is doing with parts of this (real shit about sexual trauma) but I didn't really like this book. So it's a wash is what I'm saying.

My least favorite of the MacRieve's. I can't even say it was because he was damaged because Conrad was one of my fave Wroth brothers and he was a basket case. Uilleam just wasn't very charming, even at his best. Chloe is a definitely one of my fave heroines, though.

First off, I have to say that I ❤ Kresley Cole! She could write the directions on how to hook up electronics and I would read it...and probably love it.
However, I was hesitant to read this book because I go through them so fast and then I'm waiting again, but since I have two books on the back burner I went ahead and read this one, and of course it was awesome!!!! #romantsy #osrbc #kresleycole
