Continuing the Serpent topic 🤪

#4 in the Sebastian St Cyr series.

Is it a serial killer, or is something more sinister afoot? Sebastian is asked to investigate by none other than Hero, the daughter of his nemesis Sir Charles.

4th book of Sebastian St Cyr series. I have had and extremely slow reading month. But I finally finished this excellent book. And and waiting impatiently for book 5. I have book 6 and I want to jump ahead! Sebastian is brought in by Hero Jarvis, (his nemesis daughter) to discover who murdered the fallen women of Magdalen house. An excellent story!

Andrew65 A great series. Think I am only one ahead of you. I‘ve also had a slow reading month. 4y

Murder of eight prostitutes at a London house of refuge provides Sebastian St. Cyr with yet another puzzle. Hero, the daughter of Lord Jarvis, asks St. Cyr's help in tracking down those responsible. Hero finds no shortage of suspects. Action keeps the plot moving & makes for a fast-paced read. Need to read the next book to find out more about the relationship of Hero and Sebastian. I would recommend to those who love historical mystery.

End of Day 1 total for the #24B4Monday Readathon and currently up to 4 Hours 26 Minutes.

Andrew65 @robinb This is a really great series but hard to get hold of in the U.K. Not in the library and the books in this part of the series not available on ebooks. 6y
EadieB @Andrew65 Sorry you are missing out on your reading time because of work. Hope you have found someone good to hire and hope they will be a big help to you. (edited) 6y

Schedule for the Group Read of Where Serpents Sleep, the fourth book in the excellent Sebastian St. Cyr series which takes place during the Regency Period in England. Great historical murder mysteries. This Group Read takes place on Librarything if anyone is interested.

EadieB Thanks! 6y

This is #4 in the series, and there are 11 (with #12 coming in April). I honestly cannot remember the last time I fell this hard or this quickly for a series. 5/5 #romantsy #osrbc
