I picked this book up on a whim and absolutely loved it. So well written. The Christian aspect is not thrown in your face either if that‘s a factor. It was a beautiful series that I would absolutely read over again.

I loved the covers for this entire series! I'm reading the first book now. #CoverCrush 💜 #YAApril @megnews

• I really loved this book! I never pick up historical fiction but this one was so exciting from the get go with action, mystery, love, and all the FEELS. I quickly went onto amazon and bought the next two in the series. 😬

I just read this for the first time and enjoyed it. I plan to continue with the series. A facebook discussion with the author is coming soon at her River of Time page.
DNF. Life is too short for bad audiobooks. I only got through part 1, but the main character was just idiotic and the plot line was so ridiculous, I just couldn't continue. I'm clearly in the minority here, so perhaps it's better in print.

The Last Precinct because I have a love/hate relationship with this series 📚📚
I can't make up my mind about this one. It was a bit too teenagery for me. I wasn't sold on the whole star-crossed lovers thing. But even now, several days after finishing it, I find myself thinking about the world of the book and eager to find out what happens in book two. So I guess I enjoyed it more than I thought I did!
The setting of Tuscany was new to read about and I enjoyed visualizing somewhere different. I thought the way in which Gabi and Lia travel back in time was original as well. Lisa has put a lot of thought into creating a believable history for readers to fall into. Although Gabi and Lia are teenagers, when they are thrust back in time and forced to blend into the 14th century, they seem much older and that made the book more enjoyable for me.
