mrozzz @JacintaMCarter it's unlikely.... I participated and won in '14 and '15 but skipped last year because I was lacking confidence. This year I might skip because I'd rather actually get some editing done instead of starting a new project! 7y

mrozzz Aww thanks @Reggie I did write a book. I am on my second draft. It feels not quite done (endings are hard and I was very ambitious re: number of characters) so I like to do little writing bits and bobs to keep me thinking whether or not it's directly related to the book. 8y

SconsinBookyBadger Wow! This quote strikes a nerve. It reminds me of a toxic ex-friend who 20 years later tries,tries, tries to reconnect. And I'm like "I've grown up and moved on. Please stop clinging to the past. It's done and over with." 8y

mrozzz @anansigirl oh yes. I bet many of us have "that friend". I wrote this based on that ex-friend. Hoping I can have a cathartic experience writing more about the relationship. 8y
