I DID IT. 58 hours of Sherlockian goodness.

I met Simon Vance at the annual AudioFile lobster bake when I worked for the mag in 2010, and got to hear him read. I was still new to the industry then but I immediately understood why he was held in such high esteem. I can't tell you what he read, only that I would have listened for as long as he kept at it.

There's 7 parts to this tome. I've finished the first two and am going on to the third. I'm enjoying every bit of it. Holmes is quite the character and the people he and Watson help are even more peculiar and interesting. 🕵🏻

As a rule, said Holmes, the more bizarre a thing is the less mysterious it proves to be. It is your common place, featureless crimes which are really puzzling. Just as the common place face is the most difficult to identify.
