“Through thick and thin, through ups and downs, Stick and Stone are always there for each other.“
“Through thick and thin, through ups and downs, Stick and Stone are always there for each other.“
When a new challenge arises, their bond is put to the test, but together they prove that true friendship can overcome anything
Beth Ferry‘s writing is simple yet impactful, making the story accessible for young readers while still offering meaningful lessons about loyalty and resilience.
This simple & sweet book is MF. It tells a story about the importance of friendship & how it can make us feel complete! Within this story, a talking stick & stone go from being alone, to best buds. This would be a great book for ST. This will enhance your students understanding & is a great teaching strategy to use for EL‘s. All you need is a rock, a stick(glue a leaf on top) and a pinecone, & you‘ll be ready to bring the story to life!
Love, love, love this very simple yet very powerful children‘s book.
Stick and stone we‘re always alone. That is until they met each other!
Life is always better with a friend.
Stick and Stone by Beth Ferry, fantasy. This book about “sticking” together is great for a classroom. This book will teach students the value of friendship and what it takes to be in a friendship. The stick and the stone in this book represent friends. Definitely a quick read aloud book. I would suggest this book when there is a behavioral issue with students in the classroom, just to remember that students are supposed to be there for each other.
it's book fair time at school... *grabby hands*
In case you ever wonder whatever happened to the blob from the Zoloft commercial, I am pretty sure he stayed on his meds, got a tan, and made a friend. 💕
My impulse books are also my #bookhaul for this month...except for this awesome kids book about friendship I got for my classroom. Can't wait to read it and make friendship salad!! #bookphotochallenge. (There is some awesome word play in this book as well😀)
What a lovely books. Make sure to read it out loud. It gives it more oomph. I can see why so many people said “Read This”.
