pickIf you have audible you have to have to check this one out! It is not the type of book I typically get. But I am so glad I gave it a shot. I think we should treat everyone as if they are a “holy man“. I mean everyone has something to offer you and you to offer them. Everyone's story is important in its own right.

So, it not like the most beautiful cover or anything but I picked it based on the serene look of it and the way it looked like a good “chill“ type of book... I am so glad I picked it though I enjoyed it so so much!!!

I love how #Audible is allowing its uses to listen to all of the #audibleoriginals each month (for the past two months)... This isn't one that I would have normally picked. Its just not the genre I would gravitate towards however in listening to it (its my current commute to work listen) I have really enjoyed it so far. It is a good reminder to treat all people as special and worthy of our time/kindness/energy etc :)
What it is: The Man on the Mountaintop tells the story of Holy Man Joe, a humble and unassuming 72-year-old man who lives in a hermitage at the top of a mountain. The pilgrims bring a multitude of modern-day problems, sorrows, and grievances. From the arrogant and wealthy man intent on cheating his way to the front of the line to the alcoholic who gradually builds the physical and mental strength needed to quit his addiction.
