Mem Fox is one of my favorite children's book authors, and I've been thinking about her lately after hearing how poorly she was treated at Customs after arriving in the U.S.

Dragon Imagine after such a long tiring journey an older person is put through such an ordeal for no apparent reason. How sad. 8y

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I'm in awe of how extensively she's travelled, if this was her 117th time visiting - it's such a long flight from Australia. Can't imagine how awful being questioned for that long would be. I love Possum Magic - Mum used to read it to me heaps when I was little. Vegemite, FTW 8y
