In a series with multiple points of view, there are always going to be some you don't like. Unfortunately, I've always found Danaerys to be incredibly boring. However, now more and more characters are travelling towards her, meaning that a big focus of this book was around that area and I just didnt care about any of it. I still enjoyed the stories happening in the Seven Kingdoms and the North.

nolongerinuse I felt the same when reading these books. On my rereads I skip Dany's chapters. 5y

Amazing world building, detailed characters, and I don't have to wait quite as long for The Winds of Winter to be released as those who read this when it first came out! 🤘🏻

Gezemice Fingers crossed here for Winds of Winter...😍 8y

Over half way through!
George R R Martin really has a way with words. How can a book involving mythical creatures feel so realistic?
In one of our geekier moments, my boyfriend and I bought a replica of Longclaw for our wall.
I do love Jon Snow but it's hard to pick just one favourite character!
