LibrarianRyan Ello. @PernilleHughes If your into rom/erotica check out #Litsyafterdark. We randomly post about various weird erotica. The topic lately has been #tentacleporn. But we do occasionally discuss controversial things like when #dicksoapgate happened and slew all read a Court if Thorns and roses to get it‘s appropriate ness. 4y

I can't think of another character that I have loathed more than Robert. He felt predatory, almost like he groomed her, swooping in as hero in her time of grief. Jen annoyed me bc how much I relate to her. Its easy to let fear & trauma control you so her leading a safe, boring life wasn't surprising & neither was her obsession with lists/planning. The plot was simple and predictable in a good way, like a Hallmark Movie.

PernilleHughes Thanks for posting about the book here! (Am new to Listy (late to the game), hence the slow thank you! 😀) 4y
xxjenadanxx @PernilleHughes of course! I have fallen off the Litsy wagon because of bookstagram but am getting back now! 4y

Managed 9 hours of reading so far. #reversereadathon @DeweysReadathon

My daughter even read on the playground instead of playing with the other kids, but her book was just too interesting.

Let's see if I can get another hour in. 😉 Just one more chapter.

It's one of my favourite books of the year. #NetGalley

I can wholeheartedly say is, I was one hundred per cent invested in Jen's Danish distraction. As a reader it wasn't difficult, to fall for this fine specimen of Nordic swoon-worthy masculinity. He oozed sincere charm in a too-good-to-be-true way.

Stand out elements of the narrative are the author's ability to bring her protagonists to life enabling the reader to feel their emotions.

After finishing The Daughter's Tale yesterday which takes place during WWII, I need some lighthearted chick-lit. If the book's dedication is any indication, I should enjoy it.

TheBookHippie I preordered the daughters tale is it a good read??? 6y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick @TheBookHippie Yes it is! 4-5 stars. I just need an extra day or two to compile my thoughts before reviewing it. 6y
