I love the Amos Decker character in these books - such an unusual MC / detective...
This was my favourite one of the series I think.

Another successful book written by Baldacci. The characters and the storyline are both well developed. Baldacci keeps you guessing and makes you *think* you have the plot figured out, only to throw you for another loop. Great book to read at any time
I had to work hard for this one! It took me about a month to get thru it-I read so many books while I was also working on this one. The things I liked, I really liked: Decker, his friends/coworkers, their trust with one another. But I was kinda bored by the case they were solving and that slowed the story down in places. STILL. I‘m gonna keep reading because I‘m fascinated by Amos Decker, how his mind works, and how he relates to other people.
I‘m making breakfast for dinner and listening to the Amos Decker #3 audiobook🍴🎧 🍽
The more time I spend with Decker, the more I like him!
My father-in-law‘s 80th is coming up soon. I took massive advantage of my good friend being his PR person to secure the perfect gift. 🤗
"You've done the tear duct dance already" - Amos Decker to Natalie. I loved this line and may have to use it sometime. I didn't realize this was 3rd in a series by I thought it fine for a stand alone read. It had a twist on the mystery in which I didn't see coming. Though 81 chapters, they were short and easy to read.
Maybe, just maybe I can finish this book tonight since the library takes it back tomorrow! Might as well get busy...
It's really hard to find something to post a picture of when listening to an audio book on overdrive.😉
That being said, I figured out what I like about these books. Even though there is a new female character being introduced, there isn't automatically a new love interest. Thank you, Baldacci. Men and women can work together and not be romantically involved!
Baldacci is a top-notch writer who can craft a thriller with the best of them. While I'm not totally sold on a hero with two special abilities as the result of an injury, he makes it work. After witnessing a fatal shooting in front of the Hoover Building, Amos Decker sets out to find the links that join them. He soon discovers a plot with international ramifications. This is the third book in the series and I just wish I had read them in order.
My brother recommended this book but forgot (or didn't know) that it's not the first in the series. Wish I'd known that before I started reading. So far, it's an excellent thriller.
Book three in a trilogy featuring Amos Decker, the man who forgets nothing. Best indicator is the fact that I read it in 24 hours...unusual for me. Love this author and this character in particular.
#currentread #summereadingprogram starts tomorrow! Gotta keep pounding them out! 👍🏻😂📖📖📖📖
Amos Decker is my favorite Baldacci character - and I will read every book ever written in this series. That being said, this was my least favorite of the series. I was interested enough to stick with it - but wanted more of Amos' special abilities to play a part in the resolution of the mystery.
I like Amos Decker more and more!!! Another great book by Baldacci 😎
