I spoiled myself so thoroughly today 😊 #bookhaul

And I absolutely couldn't walk away without that mug 😂😂 even though I have way too many mugs already (or not enough cupboards?)

So I haven‘t been the best with getting back into Litsy but this past week has been painful rough in so many ways. On a positive though, I bought a new car last weekend! It‘s a 2018 Nissan Rogue and it‘s a huge upgrade from my 2000 Honda CRV. One of the biggest things I‘m excited about is the ability to play all my audiobooks on it. Before I would use a Bluetooth speaker but this is so much better! I promise to try and keep on Litsy better 🙈

My goals for the #AwesomeApril readathon are pretty modest... I‘d like to finish the top two books, and at least start the bottom two... depending on my mood, there may be another title or two in there as well 🤷‍♀️

For September‘s #BookSpin, I want to tackle some series I‘ve started, but haven‘t finished yet. #bookspinbingo

I really enjoy these books. I read them back to back and they were great. Space opera and romance and humor and some very interesting world building. I‘m a fan.

I liked the first book a little bit more than the second but I did enjoy our MC in book two. She was interesting with what she had to deal with and I really enjoyed getting to know here.

I will own these books (these are library loans) and I can‘t wait for the last book this summer!

I am really enjoying this space opera romance series . This second book in the series follows Bianca, a sister who is essentially the spymaster of the House - though almost nobody knows it. She's a fantastic kick-butt heroine, who has a wonderfully broody hero opposite her. Both have secrets in their pasts they eventually share with one another.

If you're looking for some sci-fi romance, I'd recommend this series!

stayed up much later than usual finishing this book because I didn't want to put it down ⭐⭐⭐⭐

had a pretty busy weekend so haven't had much time for reading but have managed to make some time to sit down some cake + ice cream & a new library book this evening before bed

The 2nd installment in the series. Just as good as the first, but with the world-building already done. Now we just get more of the the action, adventure, and style we loved. Plus, the stakes go up, heroine‘s brother is in mortal danger. Heroine is more reserved than her sister (1st book) which makes each book a unique treasure rather than a rinse and repeat.

Solid second installment in an ongoing trilogy about political drama in space. I liked the pace and action of Polaris Rising more, but this slow-burn between a widowed heiress with secret cyber-encryption talents and her family's security officer is still very good.

We are in the middle of buying & trying to sell our house, so I did the only thing that made sense today- I read this space opera. It‘s the second in the series and I loved it. Just the the action adventure mixed with steaminess that I was hoping for. Loved it! Can‘t wait for the next book in May.

I loved this book! (First was better and a little longer, but still)

A wonderful second book in the#is series. Bianca is almost assassinated and her brother is kidnapped and taken to another planet by their family‘s enemies. Ian is the head of her father‘s security team, and Bianca was in love with him before she was sent off to an abusive marriage. Now a widowed Bianca must work with Ian to save her brother. #romantsy

This is giving me a Pretty Woman vibe.
