Brave the Page | National Novel Writing Month

I don‘t have an ending, or enough of a middle. I need to do a ton of editing. Maybe go back and outline. Flesh out characters. Work on the world building. Redraft several sections.

But right now I am celebrating because I hit 50000 words! 🍾🥂 🎉 Huzzah! 🎉

#NaNoWriMo day 18: I hit 40k words tonight 🎉
Over 80% of the way to 50k. Huzzah!

If I only knew where this story was going, what the big conflict scene is to be, and how it will all end, I‘d be in great shape. 🤣🤣🤣

wanderinglynn @BookDadGirlDad The image is screen shots from NaNoWriMo.org. You can use their website to keep track of your word count (and earn the badges!). Other features include a stopwatch, buddies, groups, a forum with a slew of topics. For writing, I use Scrivener (https://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener/). (edited) 3y

Awk_Word_Smith @BookDadGirlDad the only time I track my writing is during NaNoWriMo. I just use Google Docs to write since I can use it across all my devices. 3y

#NaNoWriMo Day 5: 7213 words so far. I‘m a bit more than 1000 words behind schedule, but I plan to make that up this weekend. Plus, I have a 4-day weekend coming up next week. So my goal is to get ahead of the curve since I‘m going out of town Thanksgiving weekend.

RaeLovesToRead Super well done!!!! I've only done 1500 words *hides in the corner* BUT! I've just turned on the laptop so this might be when the magic starts!!!! 3y

It‘s #Nanowrimo Double-Up Donation Day! I didn‘t come anywhere close to doubling up my daily word count... I barely wrote at all because life stuff happened, but I did donate! I‘ve got the rest of the weekend to get back on track so I‘m not worried yet.
