Day 8 prompt….
Ghostbusters….
This calls for a good paranormal YA!
This book seems to be very Illuminae and House of Leaves in terms of aesthetic and formatting…that alone makes me wanna pick this up so bad!

This audiobook was more than an audiobook - it was a full on theatrical production. A weird story but I really enjoyed it especially how the author ended up weaving the storylines of the various characters all together. Definitely worth a listen.
Yet another amazing story by Dawn Kurtagich! I absolutely loved how this story progressed and cried at the end. I will definitely be reading this again! ❤
Current listen because I'm in school to become a Medical Assistant and have my face buried in medical books all day. 😂 I absolutely love Dawn Kurtagich's audio book format! The way they perform is so gripping. Its creepy at just the right moments. So far this is a great book.
Omfg THIS BOOK!!
the story, the different fonts, the pictures and black pages everything made you come into this world with Roan, Zoey and friends.
Creepy and dark
Received these lovely preorder gifts yesterday. Stickers, signed bookplate, washitape, door hanger, and more! I need to move this up on my tbr-it sounds so good!

My physical TBR for the Dewey's 24hr Readathon this weekend!
Whelp. I‘ve had this from the library for awhile now and it‘s due in a few days. I should actually start to read it. 🖤☠️
Another cool way they jazzed up the book! Lots of dark pages like this when they're in dark spaces.
"Roan falls long and far and lands in a heap in a deep dark place."
This book is filled with interesting moments of spacing and creative choices used to emphasize moments in the story. Super fun!
The dedication page of Teeth in the Mist. A promise of things to come.

This was a super fun read. I adore the quirkiness in the pages.Varying fonts, backward text, wicked illustrations, creative spacing and black pages really add excitement to this book. A twisty telling of Faust, and the repercussions of his deal over generations told from alternating perspectives of girls who find themselves at a mountain home known as Mill House in the 16th,19th and 21st centuries.
Odd, strange, unusual. Dark, sinister, twisted. Confusing. I wanted to like this so much, but it didn't make much sense. The writing style is like a puzzle box full of corner pieces, impossible to put together and get the full picture. The premise had heart, the artwork and effects were a unique touch, and the creep factor was definitely there, so that is why I am generously giving 3 stars.
Cool. I'm not gonna sleep tonight. All I'll see is a shadow in the corner of my room on a rocking chair! The audiobook gave me the eeby geebies with the devil whispering and stuff. I read my first HORROR! I read Sawkill but it was more of a paranormal mystery. This was a HORROR and I liked it!
I'm kinda scared to read this but reading👏 outside👏 my👏 comfort👏 zone!👏
I knew when I read And The Trees Crept In a couple years ago, that I had found an author who's creepy writing could get under my skin. Thankfully, this was no exception.
5 ⭐ 's. Such an amazingly dark read. I absolutely love everything this author has written. It's very creative and full of twists and turns. I loved every second of it.
I‘m so excited that all THREE of these amazing books are NOW RELEASED!!!
I meant to post about them bright and early on June 11th (now yesterday) but it turns out it was a big day for me too, one where I moved into a new home, which took a big (sudden) leap of faith on my part.
Anyway, these three novels, while so different, are all very powerful, thought-provoking and unforgettable.
I can‘t wait for others to read them!
“A genre-bending epic horror-fantasy, inspired by the legend of the Faust, that spans generations as an ancient evil is uncovered” #TeethintheMist

I just got this book from a friend so I haven‘t read it. I will post a review when I can. Based on the cover and the synopsis, I‘m in!
