Twelve books finished for April. Who Slays the Wicked was my favorite. There were a lot of fun reads and a couple of disappointments. I‘m on staycation until next Tuesday so I‘m hoping to get a good start on May‘s TBR.

Finished 18 books this month! That included finishing two series, Vicious Lost Boys and Mindf*ck. It was mostly romance this month, but I also read some mystery/thriller, true crime, YA, and 2 middle grade books with my boys. #romancereader #readwhateveryouwant #goodgirlsreadsmut
Don‘t normally do a monthly wrap up, but what the heck…maybe a New Year‘s resolution?! 😆
Just one 5-star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thought I‘d wrap up my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin picks for 2021. Read 21, DNF 2 and didn‘t attempt 1. Not too shabby! @TheAromaofBooks

A short, steamy holiday romance. Shae is looking to start dating again after her divorce and matches with her former co-worker, Aidan on a dating app.

I‘m late, but it‘s been a hell of a week (mostly good!). In July I read 29 books, 13 of which were picture books, 11 were nonfiction; I had 2 DNFs. I‘ve been kind of struggling this summer, trying to balance reading commitments with life commitments and overall just feeling stretched thin. And after several serious reads, I‘m trying to find something fluffy but not romance. It‘s harder than I expected…
This was such a sweet book, and like the third red headed hero I‘ve read this week ❤️ with sexy IT guy Aiden.
Shae and Aiden were so cute together. The awkwardness and sexiness together was so much fun. I love how they talked through emotions and showed so much overt respectfulness.
WRAPPED definitely has that Rebekah Weatherspoon sparkle. She‘s mighty good at writing characters who connect as people and do lots of cute and/or sweet things as they figure out who they might be together. It‘s lovely.
As was this fish curry, which came from the best batch I ever made. I had it for lunch AND supper thanks to a shared meal mix-up, and I don‘t even mind.
Today‘s new plan:
• dig into Holiday Romance #2 for 2020. This one also features a baker! Do I smell an unplanned reading theme coming along?
• decide where to put my indoor lights this year
• catch up on Coronation Street
• take a walk while it‘s borderline warm
This heroine is amazing - sassy, plus sized, swears and bakes! The hero is swoon worthy with his kindness and emotions. The sexy times are well written. Very enjoyable. Set at Christmastime. Can be read as a stand-alone novella. #readwomen #holidayreads #romantsy #diversereads
