When your re-read oddly coincides. Also what a great 24th bday present to myself on the original read.

Im really feeling these historical romances, I don‘t know whether it‘s my being in quarantine that‘s making them so enjoyable or if I‘m on a break from some intense reading 😂🤦♂️
Another delightful entry for MacLean‘s Rule of Scoundrels series. Unusually, I found myself on the side of the male main character, who was done wrong by the lead female. However, it‘s quirky and entertaining and great escapism.
This book was soooop ridiculous. The plausibility of it is almost too much, it‘s just believable enough to be completely delightful.
I'm determined to get to the 4th and last book of this series! This was book 3 and the heroine was awful in so many ways. Selfish and remorseless (mostly), she destroys the hero's life and he gets no retribution unless you count her love. I don't! This story was so unsatisfying.
It's such a shame I haven't been enjoying the last few Sarah MacLean books I've read. I was expecting all her books to be like Wicked and the Wallflower which I loved!
Hustled my way through One Good Earl Deserves a Lover and am almost done No Good Duke! I love Sarah MacLean‘s writing. She‘s one of the best romance authors out there! Although luckily there are many talented authors in this genre and I shall never run out of great stories to read! #march2019
SQUEEEEE!!!!!! Omg!! This is a pinnacle!! She‘s my fav!!
@robinb OMG! I am in love with these books! I cannot stop! I was surprised by the ending of this one and ready to start the fourth one. @sarahmaclean is a genius! #firstbookof2018
Just finished my last book in 2017. A historical #romantsy by Sarah MacLean. To escape an arranged marriage 16 year old Mara faked her death and framed a handsome duke. Twelve years later Mara and the Killer Duke meet , drama, drama then 🔥. There are rather a lot of “lush” kisses 😘 by the end.
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Blew through this one, couldn‘t put it down! Temple is my most likely contender for “Favorite Scoundrel in this Series”, has been from the start! Now it‘s time to see is Chase can take down the “Killer Duke” in the 4th and final installment! Seriously can‘t get enough of Sarah MacLean‘s beautiful blend of #RegencyRomance, #Feminism, and #GrowlyMen!
Finished this book last night. I love this romance series!! This is the 3rd in the series, only 1 more. This book is your typical historical romance about the men that own the Fallen Angel underground casino in the 1830s. 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5.
Woke up at 5 am (I have no idea why!) and stayed in bed until 745am reading! Had to get up and start working and cleaning the house. Work is so slow this week with everyone probably on vacation!
Trying to read 2 more books before the end of the year. Trying to read 140 books to make it even!! 💕📚
I should probably consider giving up reading in bed at night in the interest of actually getting enough sleep once in awhile... I have no self control
Third in the quartet and possibly my favorite by far. Nothing says lovin' like a bare knuckle brawl and a pet pig. Terrific build and two protagonists to get behind. Still a neat little bow at the end but one which has a long twisted road worth the ribbon
The couple who drugs each other with laudanum stays together. Albeit with one passed out on the floor. But always done with love. 😂❤️
Don't eat the pig, it's their pig. 🐷Seriously no cooking her.
Temple and Lavender the piglet, Temple you may be a big boxer but you are just a big old marshmallow. 🤓📖😍🐷
3rd book in @sarahmaclean scoundrel series and it's delightful. Mara unwittingly left Temple years ago framed for her murder, which never happened. But poor Temple has been screwed over in society since; so when she turns up, you know ALIVE, things get interesting! Featuring a baby piglet 🐷, Mara's habit of drugging Temple and the excellent secondary characters and favorites this makes for an excellent, fun read all around!
While I think Temple may be my favorite of the Angel's owners, this was not my favorite of the series. I felt like it could easily have been 50-100 pages shorter as so much of the drama just felt repetitive. Then again, maybe I just need a break from the genre, having read half a dozen in as many days, and at least MacLean never refers to a part of male anatomy as a "tool". So, I'll round up to a pick instead of just so-so.
This is one of my absolute FAVORITE romance series. These two are from her Rules of Scoundrels books. They're amazing....I put them up there with Tessa Dare's Spindle Cove series and Loretta Chase's Dressmakers novels. #titlewithgood #aprilbookshowers ❤️💋❤️
Does this count as a #BodiceRipper? I've never read any of her books, so I have no idea. #BookLove17
Nothing says Valentine's Day like pizza and garlic bread solo (oh, and wine!). Hubby is sick (what an excuse!), so I'm home bound with Old Chicago, kittehs, and Netflix. This book is the next romance novel on my TBR. Hoping to get started on it soon! #RiotGrams #kissingbooks Hope everyone is feeling the love! ❤️🍑💛💚💙💜💗💕
Temple is my biggest #literarycrush of the past few years. Probably because I pictured Henry Cavill the whole time I was reading this book... 😂😍 #feistyfeb #romantsy
Sarah MacLean doing what Sarah MacLean does best.
I just finished rereading the third book :)
another enjoyable historical romance with some ice cream & hot fudge sauce 📖🍨📚
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Doing the dishes is somehow much more pleasant when you're listening to a super steamy scene in a London gambling den.
Love. Her.
Sarah MacLean never disappoints. If you like historical romance, but her on auto-buy.
