pickI love novels told in epistolary fashion. This one explores the urban legend of Slender Man through journal entry, blog posts, IM, and emails. It explores Slender Man's effect on a teenager as he tries to unravel the disappearance of another teen. It has good atmosphere, but the ending seemed somewhat forced.

so-soA mostly fun mixed media yarn about an internet age urban legend. The investigation and gossip bits was more interesting than the fictionalized story bits. Not particularly spooky, but neither is the slender man legend so... fitting

I have been waiting for this book to come out for what seems like forever. No cover has been revealed yet but according to Amazon, the release date is October 23rd.
Hopefully I haven‘t hyped it up too much in my head, but it‘s definitely one of my most anticipated books of 2018.
