Good book, not the most exciting and riveting thriller out there but was a good read and would recommend for an easy quick thriller/suspense. Every detail tied together nicely and the ending wrapped up neatly and dramatically. Also was kind of thrilling that the location of the story was so close to where I actually live haha. 🤓
This was pretty good but not great. I liked the town and the way the river and forest were more than just setting. Beccas's relationships, especially with John and Parker, could have been fleshed out a bit more. Why the murders happened wasn't the point of this book but I still would have liked to know more about them. I never really warmed up to Becca. The next book seems to focus more on Parker so maybe I'll give it a chance.
Just starting this thriller......it looks interesting. Has anyone read it??

This was actually pretty good. Noticed that it's a series too so looking forward to book 2.
5⭐
I loved it. It was exciting. The twists and turns kept me guessing as to who did it,why.
I did not care for the father, not a nice person.
I finished this one last night and I really enjoyed it. I can‘t really get into it without spoilers, but if you want a solid character driven thriller check it out.
I started this on my lunch break yesterday and I‘m flying through it. It‘s SO. DAMN. GOOD.
This one was a fun one - and of particular interest to me in the way it handled so many characters and intertwined relationships. Often times I get mixed up when there's too many timelines and characters in a book, but this was handled elegantly and with finesse. A few minor complaints about the author's style here and there... but not enough to detract from my enjoyment of this thriller.
After what can be considered a bad start to my day (still sick, my car wouldn't start when I tried to go to the doctor, was told the reason I get bronchitis so often is likely athsma, and had to wait over an hour at the pharmacy), I'm happy to be back in bed with a new inhaler and my book. Phew.
Definitely an interesting read! It was a pretty slow burn of a suspense but well written and engaging throughout. If you like small towns and long standing murder mysteries, this is a good one. As it happens I love my books with more twists so I‘d give this 3/5 stars, but a good rating nonetheless.
Some mystery, not a lot of action, but the relationships between the characters is enthralling. 🎯🎯🎯
In this dark, gripping mystery, a brutal murder unearths old secrets that should have stayed buried.
In a small town where darkness hides in plain sight, the truth could change a life - or end it.

This wasn‘t really a mystery or a thriller. You know who the murderer is from early on in the book and that makes the story lose the mystery part. Now all you have is the thrill of the chase or of when he is going to be caught or if something the heroine knows will make him come after her. But this story also lacked the thrill and was just boring.
⭐️⭐️
River Bodies by Karen Katchur is a totally engrossing read that I struggled to put down. If you enjoy lighter thrillers with a heavy focus on characters and their relationships, and just a dash of gore, then this is one that you definitely have to pick up! This is a awesome read for the fall!!
