Palahniuk is one of my favorite writers, his skill at scathing satire is virtually unmatched. I adore the original FIGHT CLUB. The comic format works for this sequel in bringing the absurdity to the forefront, something the seriousness of the original lost in translation to film.
Picking up ten years later, our protagonist and Marla have a precocious child and a troubled marriage. Most of this story is top notch until the unfortunate meta ending.
