Today wasn‘t a great day for my health, which meant a whole day once again stuck in bed.☹️Upside, I finished a 2nd book, another reread of a favorite. The 1st book in the Jill Kismet series by Saintcrow, it‘s a whirlwind of Hunters, Weres & hellbreed, filled with violence, weapons, leather & a lot of attitude. Kiss is the Hunter for Santa Luz, which means it‘s her job to police the nightside & it‘s denizens, keeping the city safe. Great series🙌

#riotgrams #day26 #mostbadassheroine I was thinking about all the kickass females in my books, I thought about Anita Blake-Zombie Queen & Vampire Killer, and about Lizbeth Salander- Girl with the dragon tattoo & chip on her shoulder, but I couldn't go past Jill Kismet-Hunter of Santa Luz , sending hellbreeds back to the fiery depths they came from, patrolling the nighttime city skyline with her blessed whip, holy water & silver charms. Kickass A+

Jill Kismet's nemesis and chief tormenter, Perry is oily, slick, vicious & as deadly as the plague. He alternates between trying to seduce & trying to kill the Hunter in between keeping his black talons fixed on the hellbreed population of the city. Fascinating & repulsive in equal measure.

She keeps her city safe from hellbreeds & monsters, with the help of a bargain made with Perry, the demon overlord of her town. This is dark at its darkest, stalking the city with her whip, blessed charms and guns, no demon is causing trouble in her town without bleeding. I love this series!
