Hello fellow Litsy enthusiasts! I'm so happy to be back! I've had a wretched stomach virus since Monday, I was so sick I couldn't even (gasp) read! I finally finished Sweet Dreams (my latest foray into KA's extensive backlist) yesterday. I really enjoyed it and it helped take my mind off the fact that we had to cancel our anniversary trip this weekend! So in lieu of that, I posed the book by my cake topper, honeymoon bell, and shower invite!

AmyS My friend puts a little bit of mayo in her scrambled eggs and it really does make them fluffier. Doesn't seem to change the taste either. 9y

drokka Adding this to my cooking tips box. Thanks for letting us know. Reminds me my friend told me a famous chef (I don't recall who) uses mayo instead of butter when making grilled cheese. Says it toasts better and that somehow improves the way cheese melts or something like that. 9y

drokka Thanks for letting us know. Reminds me: my friend told me she was watching a famous chef's cooking show (not sure who) and they use mayo instead of butter when cooking grilled cheese sandwiches. Something about the bread cooks more accurately and the cheese gets a perfect meltiness. 9y

Laalaleighh @Pinkmeghan @drokka yay for southern grandma recipes! Grilled cheese really does toast better with mayo! I swear mayo is the avocado of the south. We find ways to use it for everything. 9y
