so-soOverall, pretty good book. I loved the dual storylines from both "lead" characters. Some parts moved slowly, especially in the beginning. Dark novel, very twisted.

Started this today. It feels good to read a crime novel again but hopefully this one has more substance to keep me on my toes!
pickThis was a fantastic thriller. Definitely a new favourite. The characters were incredibly nuanced and the story was fast moving and fascinating. The ending was satisfying whilst still leaving room for the next book in this series. Five stars !

pickI really enjoyed this book and found it to be a really well written police thriller. It's quite a big book for the genre (almost 500 pages) but it didn't really ever feel like that long of a book. I did find the direction it went in to be a bigger stretch then I expected, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but I loved that it kept me guessing until the end. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries. Looking forward to the sequel!

pickIt took me longer than I had hoped to finish this book but it was worth the ride 😍 I fell in love with the characters and the bond they formed while trying to solve an emotional, and intriguing, case 🕵🏻♀️ I definitely recommend this book!

A crime and thriller haul was hiding inside of the boxes from my last post. On the bottom is a Milenium Trilogy box set that I snagged for an amazing price at Chapters.
Ran to Barnes and Noble to pick this up today because my 30+ other books on my TBR shelf weren't good enough 😂
Good so far- two people thrown together- a female cop w/panic attacks and a questionable past and a neurotic, fears leaving the house, cars, etc former victim of the Father to solve a new crime. Good, but too long for a story like this-486 pgs. Lots of filler chapters.
Reading for review. Translation of an Italian bestseller. I started it late last night and immediately wanted to pick it up in the morning. Strange start, but it is intriguing. Officer on leave w/panic attacks and a past is brought in to investigate a decapitation and kidnapping. Summer type read.
