Cute!
February 4, 2019 Hey all! I FINALLY finished Sophia of Silicon Valley and man was it a rollercoaster of a book. It was hard to start reading the book since i was in college but now that i have more free time i am getting the chance to finish up books that I just started and put down. I would give this book 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let me know what you think if you like fiction books
January 14,2019 Man It has been 14 days of another year! How is everybody? I picked this book up but found it a bit hard to read because it was about Silicon Valley and the tech language is not really my strongest language. However i am picking it up again because i have taken a long break from it.
In Albuquerque for the Joint Conference of Librarians of Color and taking a break to visit the Main branch of the Albuquerque Public Library. And of course finding new titles for the TBR list. #JCLC2018 #APL #HaveBookWillTravel
Similar to I Don‘t Know How She Does It and The Devil Wears Prada, but with an entirely unlikeable narrator. No thanks.
3⭐️ This book was fine. The author threw every problem at the MC other than an actual flying sink at her head. All those over-dramatic problems made the book feel immature. It reminded me of those YA ones I‘d pick up in middle school. That said, if you‘re looking for something easy-to-read or a palate cleanser, this would be a decent option.
#currentlyreading #24in48 Might as well continue the Silicon Valley theme!
God I lived this book! Being Chinese, I totally related! Also, when I was still in uni, I too thought that I just wanted to be married and have kids to be fulfilled, but ended up doing more than I ever imagined with my career. Well, not to Sophia‘s level, but I so totally relate to all of this!
