I solemnly swear not to inundate your feed with snow pics... but this is TENNESSEE, y'all! There's supposed to be grass & a sidewalk leading from my front door. 😂 And there may be more on the way. I anticipate a lot of reading in my future. ☺ (All of us, not surprisingly, are off of work/school.)

So again my amazing new job thinks about it‘s patients and employees since we are getting (for our area) dumped on with snow. So I‘m gonna enjoy being snuggled up with Gator 🐊 reading and later maybe sledding with my girls!

First snow of the season today! Too bad I can‘t just hibernate and read for the next couple days.

Nevertheless, I think I can finish four books by the end of the year to meet my Goodreads goal. Already I‘ve read as many books this year as I‘ve ever read in previous years.

If I really want to get crazy, I‘ll finish by the 28th and kick back for a couple days. 😎

What I did today!

My family is participating in a 24 days of Christmas event. The idea is to buy books as a sort of advent calendar. Each night of December before Christmas the kids will choose a book for our bedtime read.

I love thriftbooks for getting used books at a decent price!

Good thing I got a bunch of books yesterday. We got dumped on with snow and it‘s still coming down. 6+ inches and counting. ❄️ 📚

Four days a week I work at a medical office. My fifth day is spent at a winery. not a bad way to end the week except, we're under a winter storm warning for up to three quarters of inch of ice accumulation followed by snow. My day will be a DNF 🙄 Finishing up inventory and a half a glass of wine. going to be closing early and heading home to my books🤷📚❄️🥶

Snow day here in southwestern BC. Staying home today for the most part; went out this morning to pick up medication that I had forgotten to pick up.

As a native Arizonan, I've only experienced snow days a couple of times since I moved away, and they were all literally the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. Books are a necessity, obviously, and also Netflix (fingers crossed that the power is on). Also everything I'd need to bake something really delicious - I'm thinking some kind of bun, right? Homey but special. Cardamom buns. That's it.

Well, practical me always makes sure I have plenty of toilet paper, bottled water, nonperishable food items, blankets, candles, etc.

Then impractical me always stocks up on library books and tea, just in case. 😉

First snow day of the school year! We have about an inch and it‘s still coming down! I‘m going to watch Jeopardy with my daughter, read, and catch up on some grading! #teachersofLitsy

Current situation, so it‘s reading again today! There is a driveway there, somewhere. At least the roads have been plowed! It‘s enough snow to be annoying, but it‘s not too bad. Still, I‘m continuing my hibernation. 😉❄️👍🏽

We didn‘t get nearly as much snow as they had called for but it is icy and freezing out! I made a big pot of potato soup and plan on books, snuggles and layers! Impromptu readathon anyone?
