Pickpick

My thoughts are all over the place on this one, but I‘m giving it a pick because I really wanted to read how it resolved - and just who was the sociopath (I guessed wrong). There was a lot, maybe too much, going on for the MC though. Let‘s see, I‘m counting at least 5 significant reasons to lawyer up - that‘s gonna hurt the pocketbook!

This book had me from the start, and I was kept guessing the identity of the mysterious sociopath throughout most of the book. I enjoyed reading it but found that the ending was left wanting. It just didn‘t seem plausible or believable.

This is the first book I read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was well thought out and researched. I liked all the sub plots and how everything came together and this definitely kept me guessing until the end.

Not what I thought it would be from the summary. Wordy, and predictable outcome.

I really enjoyed this! A psychiatrist ends up being a suspect in a crime because of one of his patients. It was a double twist at the end and I didn't see either coming!

Sigh. I had this on my TBR list, so I was happy when it turned up as this month's selection for my library's mystery #bookclub but was disappointed once I started reading it. The characters were two-dimensional, and they were doing things that seemed to make sense only to serve the plot. I went to the meeting anyway and didn't hear anything in the discussion to make me want to finish reading it. 🙁

Susanita There was also an error in a plot point-minor point but annoying error nonetheless. 8y

As always, Scottoline delivers. Eric, a psychiatrist going through a divorce, tries to help Max, a teen boy struggling with the loss of his grandmother. All of a sudden, Eric finds himself accused of crimes, including murder. One of my favorite authors. Teen rating

First book by Lisa Scottoline I've read. Loved this book and her writing style. Will definitely read more of this author in the future.
