A quick read chick-lit exploring the themes of social media and how we portray ourselves online vs in reality and an exploration of a woman's thirties and the ever present ticking of the biological clock.

Not what I was expecting - so much more.

I really liked this book. Tori is a relatable character, who if she was your mate, you‘d be cheering on!! It‘s also a really good reminder that social media, while delightful is also not a real representation of who we are! Although, Litsy does a good job of just being fun and friendly!! So, maybe it‘s just the other platforms 😉

We still have no date for moving house, but I started packing today... started with my books!! Then needed a soak in the bath and a chance to start my new read... I like this a lot already!!

It is time to start this and I am so excited!! 😊

Not sure what i think yet. Am only 67 pages in at the moment.

I really enjoyed How Do You Like Me Now? by Holly Bourne. It‘s a real, raw and hilarious tale of growing up and dealing with other peoples expectations. I really hope Holly intends to write some more adult books. It was fab.

I am a thirty something. I struggle with wrinkles, grey hair and not knowing if I'm a success. So on some level, this book speaks to me. On another, I want to shake Tori. For the self harm, drinking, eating disorder, destructive relationship and reliance on social media for validation. How, as a generation, has this become NORMAL? Why are some of these things never addressed in the book? Not a loveable character. And rather disconcerting...

This was my first book by Holly Bourne and her first book for adults so not knowing any better I was expecting a light and fluffy rom com read. Boy was I wrong.

This presents a very real picture of what it's like to be in your 30s when everyone around you is getting married and having babies and you're not. MC Tori was not the most likeable but there was a lot I could relate to.

Definitely one I'd recommend
