Delightful! An American couple - newlyweds - arrive in Italy bringing too many appliances and a whole trunkload of secrets! Fast paced, funny, and surprising - I loved it! The only negative for me was too many characters that I kept forgetting who was who.
Starting the week by finishing this book. I have two and a half weeks of summer left and I‘m going to enjoy every quiet moment!
Today‘s agenda:
1) drink coffee
2) finish knitting a hat
3) read a book

I admit, I bought this one for the cover. 1950s glam, Tuscany, spies, mystery! I love it.
9-18-18: Finished on the plane ✈️ 39th of 2018! 👍🏼📖
All this, plus spies. Set in post-war Siena. This has been compared to Beautiful Ruins and I can definitely see the similarities.
Current read! Enjoying it so far. Have a good weekend Littens!
Next up in the TBR pile.... The Italian Party by Christina Lynch. I still have such a book hangover from The Balcony by Jane Delury that I'm afraid any book I read next might just seem blah in comparison to how much I LOVED The Balcony. I have been excited to read this though so I am going to try and clear my brain and just move in.
🍭🍭🍭 full review is up on my blog. Stop by and say hi! https://reecaspieces.com/2018/03/20/the-italian-party-by-christina-lynch/
So many new Littens *waves in books* welcome to the best place for book lovers!
I read mostly every genre but a lot of mystery/thrillers because I write Book Riot's Unusual Suspects newsletter: https://bookriot.com/newsletter/unusual-suspects/
And I post a lot of pictures of the goat (a goat trapped inside a dog) photobombing my book pics.
These are my bedtime reads tonight. Night night!
