pickDelightful! An American couple - newlyweds - arrive in Italy bringing too many appliances and a whole trunkload of secrets! Fast paced, funny, and surprising - I loved it! The only negative for me was too many characters that I kept forgetting who was who.
Starting the week by finishing this book. I have two and a half weeks of summer left and I‘m going to enjoy every quiet moment!

pickAll this, plus spies. Set in post-war Siena. This has been compared to Beautiful Ruins and I can definitely see the similarities.

Next up in the TBR pile.... The Italian Party by Christina Lynch. I still have such a book hangover from The Balcony by Jane Delury that I'm afraid any book I read next might just seem blah in comparison to how much I LOVED The Balcony. I have been excited to read this though so I am going to try and clear my brain and just move in.
