This is NOT about the OED (glorious as it is). I wanted to share a link to an artist who uses books as her medium. I think she‘s sort of the perfect artist for this group. https://mymodernmet.com/book-art-elizabeth-sagan/
❣️I was at Barnes & Noble shopping for my secret Valentine 🤫 and I found THESE fantastic Bible highlighters. It‘s a twist-up transparent waxy crayon; goes on smooth and doesn‘t bleed through even very thin pages. I tried every color and they work great. 👍🏽
*️⃣ (If you‘re looking for a fine-point highlighter, these are not it. They resemble crayons and don‘t keep a point for long.)
Hanging out with the OED. You know, typical Saturday.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Oxford English Dictionary circa 1978! I can only imagine how many more volumes it incorporates now 😆! I was told they make a big single-volume edition where the pages are tissue paper-thin and you need a magnifying glass to read the print. Is that true?
