This was a sweet little read. Lots of nodding along with all the reasons to love books!

I thought this would be a sweet read. It‘s all about the delights of books, so seems ideal for us Litsyans!!
1. Loved the tag book all about the delights of being a bookworm
2. My dad used to call me Elennie
3. Cheesy garlic bread
4. Having my nails re-shellac‘d tomorrow, and going to a Vintage Steam fair on Sunday.
5. C‘est Vendredi! Es ist Freitag!! It‘s Friday!! Erm, that‘s it.

Last quote from this book, I promise!
This book is so full of little nuggets that book lovers will totally understand!
An absolute pick!! Any book lover will totally understand all 50 of these beautifully written delights of books. The prose is lovely to read, and you will spend almost the entire time you spend reading this going “yep, I do that”, “oh, I know that person!” or “It‘s like he‘s seen into my soul”😂
Apparently, the writer of this book, Daniel Gray, has seen my spare room.....😂😂
I am loving this little book about books and reading; it‘s described as fifty short essays of prose dedicated to the simple joy to be found in reading and the rituals around it. I am relating so much to it!
????????????????????????????????????????
So I‘m quite excited to join this club! I read once that people in the Victorian Age would pick a book as a gift for a friend or lover, read it, and write notes throughout commenting on the parts that made them think of that person. What a personal and, literally, thoughtful gift!!
@Andrea4 @Jaberwocky @FantasyChick Looks like we're a group! Can't wait to get started with all of you! Do we want to choose books together or keep things secret? First of all - what kind of stuff do you like to read? #LMBPC
