An absolute delight - various authors, writers, and famous people wrote pieces for The Reading Agency, à British organisation that works "towards a world where everyone is reading their way to a better life." Most pieces in the book were written at a time when libraries were being threatened with closure, and many essays both remember what public libraries have meant to them & rail against the stupidity of closing libraries. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
