This was a nice story up until the last quarter or so. I liked the trip across the country in a decorated RV, spreading Christmas cheer to people who are down on their luck for one reason or another. But the romance at the end was completely out of left field and unnecessary. It ruined the entire story for me and I‘m bummed about that because I love the cover so much.
At least it was short.

I really enjoyed this book. It was predictable at times, but filled with a lot of Christmas Joy. I loved the way the characters changed throughout the story. It was emotional and hopeful. At times I found myself laughing along with things, but other times brought tears to my eyes. It was such a sweet story.
Just finished this and it was so sweet and a fun read. The perfect book to kick off the holiday season. ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️. Really great beginning! But near the middle it got a bit boring and by the end Instalove was involved and not in a classy ish way. It was still good ish. But I won‘t be rereading it.
This is the last book I read. It‘s about 2 women who deck out an RV in Christmas decorations and take a road trip to spread Christmas cheer to people who really need it. While I‘m all for spreading Christmas cheer, I‘d really prefer to do it in a way where I have access to working plumbing, so it‘s a hard pass for me. Also, there‘s no way I‘d drive an RV! #teamnutcracker #wintergames

A nice, feel-good Christmas story! A quick read too! 🎄🎅🏻

Melody Carlson‘s Christmas books are always a fun way to spend some holiday reading time. This Christian fiction tale is a great story about two friends who set off to complete a quest - and fulfill some Christmas wishes along the way.
(Edited to add: This book is available through Kindle Unlimited.)
I finished it! It was another wonderful Christmas story by Melody Carlson. I love Melody Carlson‘s Christmas stories. They are always just right. Joy was a wonderfully inspiring character and Miranda made a great sidekick. Of course, everything worked out in the end as anyone could predict. Wouldn‘t want a Christmas story any other way. #WinterGames #ReadNosedReindeer #HolidayRead
I can‘t believe I spent the last 2 hours reading this book. I only have 15% to go. Should I read it now or bake cookies. I know I will finish it today, but I do have to get cookies done before tomorrow for the cookie walk. I will get started on the cookies! #WinterGames #ReadNosedReindeer
These are some of the #HolidayBooks I will try to get read during #WinterGames. We‘ll see how many I get to. I have more on my shelves, at the Library and on my Kindle! Let‘s go #ReadNosedReindeer!
Had the ‘fireplace‘ on in the background, which also played Christmas instrumental music, with the Christmas tree twinkling to the side. I can‘t imagine a better scenario in which to read this lovely tale. A fun adventure of an older lady who just wants to spread the joy of Christmas along Route 66. I was able to finish this in just a couple of hours. Happy holidays to all!! 🎄 🎁 🎅
The last book on my 2018 #MtTBR list. When this is finished, I will have completed Mt Ararat, which is 24 books. I have read almost 100 this year, and purchased over 300 in 2018 (thrift stores and library sales at so dangerous!!)
For 2019, I‘m going for 60 TBR books, with the hope that I can do more than that. With the exception of book club selections, I‘m going to try to limit myself to books I already own.
This was a super sweet story with a great premise, but just a bit too sappy for my taste. I'm glad I finished it though.
