pickThis was a delightful middle grade adventure! It‘s been on my son‘s shelf for a long time. I finally picked it up to read for a winter book review article I have to write soon.
Full of adventure in the coldest Icelands set in a fantasy world with sweet friendships and a lot of humor. Stella and her new friends run into all kinds of magical and unique creatures as they got to know one another. I‘ll definitely be picking up book 2. 5⭐️

This was a fun read, perfect for middle grade students. The characters were well-written and the setting descriptions were great. My only complaint is that everything always seemed to work out too easily without the characters having to try too hard.

pickFinished the 1st book for #BookAWeek #readathon. The adventure story is about Stella Starflake Pearl, a girl who aspires to become an explorer. The story starts off well predictable, but the last three chapters truly change its course. First in a series of 3 books, it is recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a simple fun story of a girl and her adventures. Kids will really enjoy this one!
