Then freshman girls are found dead, ostensibly from elevator surfing and Heather grows suspicious.

Heather Wells leaves her #PopLife behind after her mother uses her and robs her blind of the money she made as a teen in the spotlight... to top it off, Heather also walks in on her longtime boyfriend in the middle of relations with another woman. So she does what any other self-respecting woman would do. She packs up, and rents an apartment from her ex's brother, then starts a new job as an RA at a dormitory in a New York college. ⬇⬇

An enjoyable light mystery albeit slightly predictable and repetitive. It could use some editing (and how many times can someone say it‘s not a dorm but a residence hall?). But I liked it enough that book 2 will go on my tbr.

Loving this book so far.

Not a typical read for me but since I was on a #bodypositive mood for #booked2018 (I've also been listening to Roxane Gay's Hunger), I wanted to give Meg Cabot a try as I've not read her books. It was an entertaining light read, something that was good to pop into while reading all those far heavier books I seem to have gotten myself into. But it's a kind of a 3 star read for me.

I don't read a lot of murder mysteries, but I started this series because Meg Cabot is one of my favorite authors, and I am very glad I did! Heather Wells (the mc) makes me laugh out loud! #fallintobooks I think the Heather Wells books would make a great TV series. A retired young pop star, a dysfunctional college dorm, a hot detective roommate, a needy Pop star ex and murder 😊 who could ask for more!

#melandprireadathon day 3: Chick Lit or Women's Fiction, chick lit for me. I finished book 2 a novella, I will by Lisa Kleypas. I loved it! Now onto book 3, Bound by Marriage by Nalini Singh.

Heather Webber knows what #fame is...she was a teen pop sensation years ago. But, her record label dropped her for gaining weight (!), and so she eventually took up a job at an university working in the dorms. Except, things happen in her assigned dorm...people are murdered.

This is the first of a series written for adults. It's cutesy, so go into it with no expectations. Nice escape from reality. #septembowie

3. Not sure- I traveled to the top of a mountain in Mysore, India but don't know the elevation

Heather Wells is freaking adorable with her band of misfit college dorm residents that she plays den mother too. She loves food and dreads working out and admits to being to lazy to stand up in showers. It's a very enjoyable series.

Nice way to start my Sunday. Relaxation is my game plan.

Taking time for a nice light read

So many great sleuths out there from Nancy Drew to Stephanie Plum to Richard Castle to Walt Longmire... one of my favorite #sleuths has got to be Heather Wells from Meg Cabot's Size 12 series - comical hijinks ensue. #octphotochallenge My girl crush would have to fall to the average size, cream cheese bacon bagel loving, amateur detective Heather Wells. She is freaking adorable from mother goose role in a dysfunctional college dorm knows as Death dorm to her insane hidden crush on her ex boyfriends brother. This is the series I read over and over for a good laugh. I took all the books with me when I went to India to keep me company 😊

This is my go to re-read series when I need a good mental break and laugh.Heather Wells is one of my favorite female leads because she's so down to earth and funny. We share a love of cream cheese on bagels and fluctuating waist lines. It's super fun to read!

Cool book. Loved reading Meg's take on a mystery novel w/ a heroine; unlike many mysteries w/ female MCs, Heather is not by any means perfect. She is kind of a hot mess. It isn't idealistic like some mysteries I read. It's funny, dismal, and exciting. I 💛 u Meg

Has started off really great. This is such a different vibe and style from Meg's normal style and I like it a looooot. I'm excited to keep reading it 😊
