I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. It was hilarious. I dont even have to tell you the premise since its on the cover. The cow cartoons throughout were awesome. Ending was sad but i actually did not cry. 5 stars for this one.

#dystopianblues headed to the post office this morning! Open at your own risk!
Just getting a sneaky goodie or two in there then this #dystopianblues package is on it‘s way (Monday)! I was so excited picking out these books; it reminded me what a great genre this is! @Mommamanzi

This was one of my favourite reads this past month, this autumn/fall.

This book was different. Romance + Humour + Sci-Fi + Ancient Cultures + Greek Gods + ...
The title is quite revealing. Girl meets gorgeous, hot guy in bookshop and they fall for each other. His people don't want them to be with each other. The world is ending and humans on Earth are going really crazy; they can be saved, if they turn to love instead of hatred.
Yes, you guessed it, the couple comes to the rescue of mankind. A quest of ⬇⬇⬇
#ForReasonsUnknown I find the last third of both books hard to get through.
The Historian: it somehow turned into a boring history lecture
Holy Crap: Part 2 is written in present tense, when before it was all in past tense.

The guy can #shine, not sparkle mind you! He shines even more when things get hot.

And - the heroine is certainly expecting her #WakeUpCall any moment. The stuff that's happening to her is hilarious, gross, romantic, hot, and out of this world crazy.

#litsypartyofone commences. Is it weird that I'm reading now (4 a.m.) instead of going back to sleep after my daughter woke me about 20min ago? Naaah! Normal bookworm behaviour, right?
The cat has reclaimed her favourite spot - right under my chin. #catsoflitsy
@Ambrosnazzy
My #LitsyPartyOfOne has been hijacked. My daughter doesn't want to be in the picture though. She's the lump hiding under the Paisley patterned blanket.
The cat is lying on my belly. She's just had a very bumpy ride, I had to laugh so hard, first about something in the book then about my daughter hiding.

4.5 stars ✨ It‘s somewhat sacrilegious, romantic, sexy, crazy hilarious, full of high octane excitement & ridiculous puns, and fun as all heck to boot. I really liked how Abell managed to pack so much in, and how she managed to incorporate so many pop culture elements into a story so full of historical lore & research. Also, the humor struck me as reminiscent of that of Douglas Adams in the Hitchhiker‘s Guide to the Galaxy. 😁
This book! 😋 One solitary chapter in and I already can‘t wait to see where this goes. Aside from the hilarious storyline already in play, the chapter titles are the bomb. And this character‘s love of food? Well, can I just say I wanna party with her so hard right now? Hahaha 😜🍽
(Urgh having trouble even typing on this first post too. See earlier comment if not sure what I mean. Pls help @Litsy ! 😩)
Bahahaha What can I say? #NetGalley has done it again. Adding one more to my already long #TBR of #NetGalleyReads. 😂
