Aleph | 
So I just completed the Aleph and I really don't know how to comprehend it. It's my 3rd book of Coelho's and I loved the previous ones but not this. With the description of the book, I expected something more on faith and spirituality which the 1st part of book is, but then it shifts to past lifes and I was lost.I wonder if it's because this book was too early for me or just that it may not be as exceptional as the others🤷🏻♀️. Any thoughts?
pickI enjoyed this novel and the tidbits of wisdom along the way. The story kept me interested and I finished it much faster than other books I‘ve tried reading so that must mean it was a good read! Lol. I enjoy his style of writing and the insights he shares in this book.

Here‘s to reading at the beach during my last few days of summer! I hope to continue reading as much as I have been recently when I go back to work. There is certainly something magical about books and their ability to transport you to different worlds entirely. Swimming with dolphins 🐬 in the wild and getting to lay on the beach soaking up the sun while reading an amazing book = paradise 🏝
The Washington Post writes “Spiritualists and wanderlusts will eagerly devour... [Coelho‘s] search for all things meaningful.” I consider myself both and they are right about this book. I‘m almost halfway through and really soaking it up! I feel like I‘m turning over a new leaf in my reading- devoting more time and energy to books and reading. I always say how much I love books and can often be found in a bookstore now I‘m putting that into action
As of yesterday I‘m officially a library user! I‘m so excited to have access to ALL these books. The library app is great and I‘ve found many books I want to read. I‘m hoping this latest move to join the library gets me reading way more than I have been.

I love you like a river that begins as a solitary trickle in the mountains and gradually grows and joins other rivers until, after a certain point, it can flow around any obstacle in order to get where it wants.
I am just loving this book. I'm going to be sad to take it back to the library. This one is going on the to-buy list, I'm going to need to read this more than once.
As always happens when we are focused on what we want, things begin to slot perfectly into place.
Do you ever come across the right book at the right time in your life? Almost like someone or something put it in your path to find? Having just received a sizable gift yesterday from an unexpected source, this really hits home for me.
If I had to give you one piece of advice, it would be this: don't be intimidated by other peoples opinions. Only mediocrity is sure of itself, so take risks and do what you really want to do.
Thank goodness for writers, because some people have a profound way with words and I want to gorge myself on their wisdom. For translators and international publications, and for people who are determined to bring such work to people like me, who might not have had the opportunity to be touched by these words, otherwise. THANK YOU!
Paulo Coelho has such insight into the human spirit, his words climb into my soul.
