@DivineDiana and anyone else who is interested: the class I went to last night used Ryder Carroll‘s book (and website Bulletjournal.com) but the handout was from Tinyrayofsunshine.com I‘m finally sitting down to play but am just using a notebook I have on hand tonight while I try to decide what I‘m doing.

DivineDiana Thank you so much! Off to learn more! 😀 6y
SaturnDoo I love my bujo and creating my pages. Have fun. ❤ 6y

CocoReads @mhillis thanks, I just followed her on insta! 6y
Clare-Dragonfly Just using a notebook you have on hand is the perfect way to start a bullet journal! 6y
CocoReads @Clare-Dragonfly I have approximately 4000 notebooks. Ok, I exaggerate a tiny bit but I do have a paper addiction! 6y
Clare-Dragonfly Same here! 😆 I bought a Bullet Journal Official Notebook when they first came out, but I think I‘m on my fifth bujo and other than that, I haven‘t purposely bought a single one. 6y

Having a lot of fun with this bullet journal but also struggling with the imperfections, but I'm learning! 😅

Things learned while drawing this:
- Colour the thing BEFORE you write on it, unless you want pen smears.
- Don't have a mind boggles IN THE MIDDLE of writing a word, particularly when you're doing calligraphy. 🙄
- But also Don't think too much, unless you want to make yourself struggle more.

😆 #bujo #bulletjournal #2018bujo

HelloImJez Also, all the names on the books are made up or are references to something ☺️ 7y
Smangela I‘m trying to start a #Buju and your documentation is AWESOME 7y
HelloImJez @Smangela Thanks! ❤️ This is my first one too so I'm trying not to be TOO picky with it and seeing it as a learning process, just doing whatever as I go! 7y

When you just want to be one of the cool kids. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, I‘m hoping bullet journaling teaches me some patience because it‘s making me realize I have none. #sloppylines 😬😬😬 Also, I found the fun but quirky cat stickers that @CoffeeCatsBooks sent me and I can‘t wait to use them for something! #bulletjournal #bujo

Jennick2004 Super cute!!! 7y
Sue That's gorgeous! I have no artistic talents at all, so my bujo is mostly lists made pretty with stickers and washi. 😊 7y
Bookworm54 Looks cute so far! ☺️ I played a little last year, but I‘m going to try properly this year. I was just waiting for my journal to appear as I‘m unorganised...hence the need for a journal 🤣 7y

SilversReviews Love this photo and journal. 7y
vkois88 Love it... also; do you do any kind of needlework? If so, you could put the stickers on a firm surface and turn them into needle minders with magnets! :) 7y
CoffeeCatsBooks Wow, it‘s looking great already! 7y

To bullet journal or not to bullet journal? That is the question. I love seeing everyone's #bujo pics, but I feel like my enthusiasm for doing my own will quickly fade. Hmmmmm....

If, like me, you have no idea what a bullet journal is, then you can check out this great article and become a Bullet Journal Zen Master!

https://www.buzzfeed.com/rachelwmiller/how-to-start-a-bullet-journal?

BkClubCare Fabulous list! Just do it and realize it is all yours and you can do it anyway that pleases YOU. Have fun! 7y
Nat_Reads That sounds like meeee 7y
AceOnRoam Thanks @BkClubCare just working on finding the right shade of teal! Also another excuse to get another notebook 📒 7y

batsy This list is so me 😂 I should probably also read that article, having just learned what #bujo stands for 😆 7y
Varshitha Hahaha!!! .. some of the things I have gone through this year... But have totally come to love bullet journaling now.. eagerly waiting to set it up for 2018.. Thanks for sharing the link 7y
AceOnRoam I'm bullet point 7 "Feel Intimidated". I can never do consistent letters! It's a real worry ? 7y
Andrew65 Thanks for the article. 😊 7y
julesG You forgot one point: Put material aside and forget about it until late December of next year. 7y
BkClubCare @AceOnRoam - you ‘ll find it. (Or try hot pink instead? No, go with purple 😂) 7y
susanw I started one last year and this year decided to dedicate one strictly to reading/book journaling/challenges. I am more excited about this than a person should be. 7y
AceOnRoam @Nat_Reads me too, I'm going to try to see it through this time !!! 7y
AceOnRoam Thanks @batsy I'm adding #bujo to my list of cool things to remember 😎 7y
PurpleyPumpkin This was a great article, thanks for sharing! I haven‘t tried bullet journaling yet, but I‘m tempted to give it a shot. 2018 seems as good a time to start as any. 👍🏽😉 7y
AceOnRoam No worries @Varshitha you'll have to share a little bit of your wisdom here! 7y
jb72 I have one bullet journal that I want to try out. I also bought a pretty journal for keeping track of books. I haven‘t started either one. 7y
AceOnRoam You're welcome @Andrew65 😊 7y
AceOnRoam @julesG I just purchased a 2018 calendar which I proceeded to spill red wine all over. I'm colouring in the edges and need to do a bit of craftwork over some of the major stains. It's looking very much like a bullet journal by a 5 year old. The dates are still visible so I'm not giving up on it!!! 7y
AceOnRoam Hot pink and green are my current favourite colours for daily use so I'm way ahead of you there @BkClubCare 💗💚💗💚💗💚 7y
julesG Sounds fun, though. I bought a 2018 notebook calendar/diary (Moleskine). I managed to take the foil packaging off, then my daughter decided this was ideal for her. 7y
Redwritinghood Thanks! I‘m thinking of doing this for next year. 7y
AceOnRoam @susanw haha, that's too funny but I completely understand. I kept a moleskin this year for my books, but I just called it a #notebook LOL. I'm starting a new one this year but it's going to be a #bujo @batsy 7y
AceOnRoam @PurpleyPumpkin it was indeed a great article and funny too. I even watched the video! 7y
AceOnRoam Let me know how you go @jb72 you are a crafty one and I could use some ideas for my wine stains on my 2018 calendar 😔 7y
AceOnRoam It's part n parcel of having a bookish daughter @julesG . She deserves it after her book club idea today 😍😍😍 7y
AceOnRoam No worries @Redwritinghood I hope it works out for you.. 7y
julesG She does! 7y
batsy I look forward to hearing more about your #bujo adventures in 2018 😎 7y

Giving the ol' bullet journal another whirl. I use Todoist for my work tasks and Outlook for my calendar, but there's a gap there between my home life and work life, as well as a gap for a lot of minuscule tasks I do for my work boys that don't get added to my regular to-do list. Hoping this will help me get all the random post-its off my desk and the random iPhone notes off my phone!

ReadingOver50 I am tempted to try bullet journaling. I just don't know if I would keep with it 😊 7y
aschermetz @ReadingOver50 I hear it's great for people who stop and start journals and that's totally me! 🙈I used to use one solely for work and I loved it, now I'm trying it out for my home life! 7y
SilversReviews Is Todoist an app? (edited) 7y
See All 8 Comments
aschermetz @SilversReviews Yes! And it syncs up to Outlook which I love, so my to do list is right there with my email and calendar. I highly recommend it. I love it so much I even shelled out for the pro version! 🙌 7y
SilversReviews Thanks for the information about Todoist. Does it work without Outlook? I don't use Outlook. 7y
aschermetz @SilversReviews Sure does!! Syncs up to other email providers (gmail, etc) if you want it to, OR works as a stand alone to do list. It's great! 7y
SilversReviews @aschermetz THANKS. Going to download the app. 7y
booksbyaliven This is the only way I can keep a journal. It's great. You can keep track of whatever you want every month. The most important thing for me is that I can use the same notebook for more than 2 years. 😁 7y
